　　for thousands of years, animals have trodden a slow path, their spirits together with the body. but our human beings transportation is too fast. the body moves but the soul is left behind. we try to free ourselves in convenience, but we only imprison the soul. since we invented how to count hours, we do everything to short the time, short the deadline. but the time saved cant be shorten. nowadays, we spend lots of time staying in front of a tv just changing the channels, while we have no time to talk with a good friend or play with our family. we have plenty of time to search old news on the internet, while we hardly think about our life. in the end, the only thing apparent is our loneliness.

　　Though fresh, a good amount of it can no longer be used. Only quite limited fresh water resource is available to human beings. So it's high time for us human beings to take quick action to protect water resource. Stop pollution and save water, otherwise, we cannot survive on the earth.

　　今天，令我十分期待的“英语村一日游”终于到来了！我既开心又兴奋，真想快点踏上旅途，替这美好的一天，揭开序幕。

　　我们乘着游览车来到“英语村”，同学们个个兴奋的以百米的速度冲进英语村，想快点看到英语村的庐山真面目，当然，我也不例外啦！一走进英语村，映入眼帘的，全是一些新奇的事物，就好像我们发现“新大陆”一般，令我好想快点进到里面一探究竟呢！

　　我们来到今天的第一站─Kitchen（厨房），制作美味的小点心。在制作小点心之前，我们必须先戴上发网以及将双手清洗干净，才能开始制作小点心。一开始，我们先将材料一一的放入盆子中，并将材料搅拌后，放入小纸盘中，接下来就将装好的小纸盘放入烤箱，过了一下子后，好吃的小点心就完成了！老师也用很幽默的方式问我们：“好不好吃？”我们回答：“好吃！”这堂课真是有趣呢！

　　第二站─Supermarket（超级市场），老师教我们购物时该怎么说，还让我们照着购物清单来购物，令我体验到了一次新奇的.体验。

　　第三站─Hotel（旅馆），一进到教室，老师就让我们填写住旅馆的表格，我住的是双人房，我还忘记拿小费给行李员呢！这堂课让我学到很多东西，也十分的好玩！

　　第四站─Sciense Lab（自然科学室），这堂课我们要测量的是球滚下来的速度，有的球滚下来的速度很快，也有的很慢。我负责计时，每次测量时都不小心按错，害的我们量了很多次才成功，这堂课让我觉得我似乎成为了一位科学家。

　　今天的英语村一日游让我获益良多，启发了我重新学习英语的想法，我会重拾对英语的热爱，并好好学习，并善用英语拓展国际观，学习更多的知识，让我的生命更加多姿多彩！

　　How I Overcame My Difficulties in Learning English?

　　Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning， but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. For example， when tested for listening comprehension， I couldn＇t understand a single sentence， let alone a passage of medium level.

　　In order to overcome the difficulty in my English learning， I made great efforts to find the key to the problem. I consulted my teacher and found out that I merely didn＇t have enough time to practice listening. So I bought a tape recorder and listened to it at least two hours a day. In addition， I listened to "Special English" on VOA. I also went out of my way to speak to foreigners on the campus whenever we meet so that I could have the chance to listen to the native speakers. After half a year＇s hard work， I could get 70% of the questions correct in listening comprehension tests.
