尽管他的.遭遇如此悲惨，他却最终坚强地活了下来。在好心人的帮助下，他解开了自己的身世之谜，找到了自己的姐姐，与姐姐相依为命。奥利弗终于有了亲人的关怀和帮助，我也为他感到庆幸。
那时的伦敦有很多穷人，他们都饱受过欺凌，甚至到了走投无路的境地。于是，有的为了生存，就去当强盗，做小偷……他们都没有像奥利弗一样——坚守着心底深处的纯净。奥利弗相信，只有这样，才能为自己找到出路。
《雾都孤儿》让我学会深思，给了我很大启发。它是我读过的第一本大部头外国名著，我要好好地珍藏这本书。
