You are warmly welcomed to our school . I'm Wu Dong . I'm very glad to be your guide . First ， I'd like to tell you something about our school . It was set up in 1957 . The number of students is over 0 ， and the teachers about 100 . There are altogether 20classes . Besides the teaching buildings ， we have a library for different kinds of subjects ， and a school-run workshop .
We have four classes in the morning and two in the afternoon . After classes ， we join in various activities ， such as ball games ， painting ， singing and dancing .

Attending college is a dream for most teenagers for they could obtain there not only academic knowledge but also social skills .Also they could make close friends at this period of time. Therefore a majority of people believe that the college years are the best time in a person's life, I can' agree with it more. Colleges are regarded as the cradle of elites since they were established hundreds of years ago. As universally acknowledged, a number of talented instructors and qualified professors gather in universities which offers a valuable chance for students to pursue knowledge with the help of these scholars face to face whereas workers outside school seldom have a similar opportunity, so it's the best time to arm students with knowledge. Enough knowledge could help them find a decent job. Moreover, as college students couldn't enjoy the help from parents far away, they are obliged to do housework by themselves so that they can learn to live independently. In addition, college is the best time for students to develop friendship or even affinity. Close friends could be made in colleges for they have the same age, the same interests and the same dream. They live in the same dorm and they could chase dream together. Also, they could find boy friends or girl friends that they may get married. Friendship and love fill the colorful college life. All in all, all people spend their most valuable time in colleges, learning knowledge to pave a way towards success in future. Although there's no help from parents, students could feel other motions such as friendship and love from schoolmates. Currently, I'm getting prepared for college study and I hope the best time in life will bring more exciting memory to me!

My View on University Ranking 大学排名之我见
In recent years, all kinds of University Ranking Lists can be found on some educational websites, or newspapers. The ranking standards also vary. These lists have great influence on students. They are even becoming the only scale to evaluate the colleges and universities.
People hold different views toward this phenomenon. Some believe that these lists help the students a lot, especially for those who will choose their university. While some other protest vigorously. In their points, the list is really ridiculous and harmful. In my view, the university ranking may have its own reference values, but its disadvantages overweigh its values.
For those university-students-to-be, they are supposed to choose the school according to his or her own situation, but not the so-called Ranking List. What’s more, how about the university students? How do they feel about themselves when they see the ranking? The list may become some intangible shackles for them if their own school ranks poorly.
In a nutshell, there is no easy method to rank these universities, but the Ranking, only helps students ignore the essentials, namely, their ninety-nine percent perspiration.

Now more and more children in the countryside are out of school. One of the reasons is that their parents haven't much money to afford their school. They have to stay at home to earn money to support their families. What a pity! And another reason is that many parents think it is useless for girls to study and they would not like them to go to school. On the other hand, some children are not interested in their lessons and would not like to go to school.
I think all the children, including girls, should have the right to receive education. We have the duty to lend them a hand when they are in trouble. All the people should pay attention to the education of children who will play a very important part in the future of our country.
失学
现在，越来越多的农村孩子失学了。一个原因是因为他们的父母没有很多的钱供他们上学，他们不得不在家里赚钱养家。太可怜了。另外一个原因就是很多家长都认为读书对女孩子没用，所以不让她们读书。另一方面，一些孩子对功课不感兴趣，不愿上学。
我认为所有的孩子(包括女孩)都有权利接受教育。我们有义务在他们困难时伸出手来帮助他们。人们应当重视孩子的教育问题，因为他们对国家的未来将起到非常重要的作用。
Beauty on the Campus 美丽的校园
It is believed in common that beauty exists everywhere on the campus as long as you have an eye for it. Some people hold that natural scenes, especially at dawn, are the most beautiful on the campus while others believe that it is in the afternoon when the playgrounds are flooded with students taking part in sports.In my opinion, the best scene on the campus is during the rush hour when thousands of students rush towards the canteen.
At precisely the same time as the bell rings, some students dash from the chairs, rushing to the canteen. They set the prelude to the most attractive scene of the whole day.
Within a few minutes, all the classrooms become empty and everyone starts their journey for lunch, on foot or by bike. It gives people the impression that lunch is the most important thing in the world. Most of the students move at the same speed,with the exception of several excellent cyclists. They shuttle smoothly in the crowds just like fish swimming freely in the sea.
On the way to the canteen, everyone looks anxious. But once inside, a look of pride and triumph takes over. Sometimes,it bubbles up in my mind that the rush hour hustle and bustle is the epitome of the intense competition in real life. If you want to realize your expectations, you must be armed with skills and knowledge, use time and resources efficiently and the most importantly, have a healthy body.
